This school is the also first anti-seismic building of the region, and has a reinforced concrete structure.

The school now offers both primary and secondary education, for up to 600 students.  This is equivalent  to about 1,000 hours of teaching on an annual basis for each class. English and Hindi are taught, in addition to mathematics, history, science and other humanities.
